After representatives for former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg filed his paperwork in Alabama Friday, the possible presidential bid got off to an inauspicious start.

So…how in the world does he think doing this will HELP get Biden nominated?

According to CNN, a Bloomberg spokesman said that if he does choose to run, he will not contest the four early primary states due to his late entry into the race.
He seems to be running due to worry that former Vice President Joe Biden, who he sees as the best chance of beating President Donald Trump, won’t win the nomination.
Sheesh. That almost hurts to look at.
And the sideways 2’s look like red elephants. You know like you see on Republican logos?
And perhaps the probability that he won’t win in any of those.
Unfortunately, Mnuchin wouldn’t give Bloomberg the rights to this photo.
Perhaps he thinks that’s a kind of side-effect?
As a Warren/Sanders supporter, I think this ain’t all bad. It amplifies concerns about Biden’s weak candidacy and campaign, gives the non-plutophile wing of the party something to clarify their values, and there is no way in hell Bloomberg comes close to getting the Dem nom. It would be bad news if he runs 3rd party, which he might, or if he funds a bunch of negative ads against the progressives–but all that shit is coming anyway from the GOP.
