Former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg is largely staying out of the public eye in the wake of his poor performance during his first Democratic presidential debate last week.
All of the non-Bernie candidates just need to play rock-paper-scissors in a round-robin knock-out tournament until they get it down to one. May I humbly suggest that the debate time tomorrow evening be used instead for this.
Donāt really care which one anymore, thereās Bernie, and thereās everyone else. Just pick one, or Bernieās plurality may swamp everyone else, and weāll get our own Trump up there, winning with a minority of the votes.
ādelivering the line of the nightā ā referring to Bloombergās line that Sanders is āthe best known socialistā who āhappens to be a millionaire with three housesā
āBloombergās campaign event in Utah last week has been his only public appearance thus far since last weekās debate.ā
Ms. Concepcion - I think you misspelled ādebacleā?
He could and would be, but at this point, everyoneās just splitting up the not-Bernie majority.
Draw straws if thatās what it takes, doesnāt matter. But having too many people splitting the not-Bernie runs the very real risk that Bernie takes it all with a minority of votes at the end.
I like him a lot and he really has a terrific and clever team. But Iām afraid he doesnāt have enough time to catch up. And he seems to be raising less money recently. Hope he can pull it off.
Heās buying if anything ad space in print and TV and paying for mailers reminding people how terrible trumPP is instead of doing what the others are doing, that is, arguing with each other about how he or she is best suited for the job. And pounding on healthcare which is out of their hands and upto Congress which will finalize an debate stage rhetoric.
How do you cram for the lack of interaction with voters over the last several months? You canāt fake not having had to persuade picky Iowans, rugged New Englanders, and wild Westerners by eating their food, making promises to the locals, shaking a million hands, and taking a billion selfies.
Watch out Biden fans. I think the media is probably itching to say that, āBloomberg did much better this time.ā And a stronger Bloomberg means a weaker Biden.
