Bloomberg Drops Out After Super Tuesday Gambit Goes Up In Smoke

This is what $500 million will get you.

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced on Wednesday that he was ending his campaign after failing to yield the Super Tuesday votes he had been banking on to jumpstart his self-funded campaign.

Shutting down his campaign will slow the economy.

No hard feelings from me, as long as Bloomberg points his moneyhowitzer in the dotard’s direction. And I think he will.

The Establishment will probably succeed with it’s coordinated effort to stop Bernie, by continuing to prop up Biden. Who will then lose badly to Trump. It’s 2016 all over again.

So it turns out the Democratic Party wasn’t for sale after all. At least not in the parochial sense.

Yeah, that damned ā€˜Establishment’.

Keep telling voters that they’re stupid. And don’t forget the snakes for Warren supporters!

Am I Samoa care about this?

Well, then I guess it is all done. We move on, find a rocket ship, fly to another planet and begin to build a new world free of these mortal constraints.

I guess that’s what happens when you tell Dem voters if you don’t get aboard my wagon, we are going to call you French nobility and guillotine you.

Some people have been saying he’s helping Sanders by splitting the moderate votes, especially during the last few days, but here’s an opposite take I agree with. https://mobile.twitter.com/lynnv378/status/1235194018679619584
Also, some would say it’s ā€œriggingā€, I call it playing within the system. I’m not happy with the result and even the process, but it’s not against the rules.

I think the coordinated effort is to nominate a viable Democrat and beat Trump. And I’m not in the Establishment (I’m just an engaged Democrat, citizen, and voter), but I certainly consider myself part of the effort.

Am I the only one who doesn’t consider Bernie a Democrat? He isn’t a member of the party he only caucuses with them in the senate. Why would I ever want to give my Party’s nomination to a person who has resisted joining the party for 40 years? That is as bad a tRump taking over the Rethugs!

Now would be a good time for a lot of you to stop it with the ā€œBernie Brosā€, ā€œSandernistasā€, ā€œSanders supporters are cultistsā€ talk. Consider refraining from gloating and don’t amplify anecdotal examples of Sander’s supports acting like jerks. The moderate lane has had a free pass on disparaging Sanders supporters (I’m not saying there isn’t nastiness on both sides), but it really is in all of our interest to cut it out.
