Even after the Obama campaign finally decided they weren’t going to let the Republicans fight 2012 on a different set of rules from them, and set about embracing the Obama-friendly Super PAC, Priorities USA, its coffers weren’t exactly swelling. According to its FEC filings it raised a measly $58,815.83 in January; a drop in the ocean compared to the millions sloshing around groups supporting Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich.
