Bill Clinton has recorded a last-minute robocall in support of Democrat Andrew Romanoff’s primary challenge to Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet.The primary is tomorrow, and polls show a tight contest, after Romanoff made up much ground in the race’s closing weeks. Clinton calls Romanoff one of the “most effective legislative leaders in the entire country” and says he believes Romanoff has the best chance to hold the seat for Democrats in November. Romanoff has used Clinton’s endorsement to counter Obama’s support for Bennet.
