Former Attorney General Bill Barr has a book out detailing his time in the Trump administration, and with it, he’s launched a full on historical revisionism campaign, telling Americans to believe him, now, rather than their lying ears in 2020.
Barr is a liar and he was willing to work for trump. That’s really all I need to know.
But the headline with this article is kinda misleading. I see the words “his own campaign” and that leads me to think Barr is running for some office or other. Which apparently he is not.
Campaign, in this context, is synonymous with effort or attempt.
Barr is also synonymous with ‘self-dealing hypocrite’.
Barr is a fraud that wants to make money by selling books. Don’t give this man once cent of your money.

Including Attorneys General, it would appear.

Barr is one of those Republicans who believe any Republican, no matter how corrupt or malign, is better than any Democrat. In other words, anti-American.

Barr also started an investigation into the election, before votes were even certified.

Amazon shows Barr’s book as the “No. 1 Best Seller in Political Leader Biographies.” Looking beyond that very narrow subcategory, it is currently No. 22 in Books, several places behind both “I Need a New Butt” and Snoop Dogg’s cookbook.
ETA: it’s not even tops in “Fact-Free Conspiracy Mongering By Right Wing Assholes.” That honor goes to some POS by Glenn Beck’s ghostwriter calling Biden a fascist.

I did not lie repeatedly to the public about ballot fraud and the Mueller report, and even if I did, so what?
Logically, it is possible that Ukraine meddled in the 2016 election, that China filled in 350,000 mail-in ballots for Biden in 2020, and that Hillary eats a baby for breakfast every morning. I have not heard any reasoned arguments to the contrary, none are possible, and even if they were, what’s your point?
He says Trump is unfit for the presidency, but would vote for him anyway in 2024 because the “far-left progressive agenda”; would be worse for the country.

These are almost certainly “bulk sales.” Republican organizations will be buying up pallet-loads, and giving them out as party (heh) favors at various campaign events and fundraisers.
I can’t believe I’m saying this - but the big toilet guy was probably Trump’s best AG. And he wouldn’t even qualify as a paralegal in most jurisdictions. Ok, slight exaggeration.
But are they going to bulk buy a book that doesn’t support the cult of Trump?

He buried the Mueller investigation, buried an investigation into Trump’s billionaire friend, Tom Barrack, played fast and loose with rearranging USAs in the Southern District of NY, and engaged in many other corrupt acts as AG.
