Former Vice President Joe Biden expressed dissatisfaction over Twitter refusing to take action against President Trump in light of his tweets stoking baseless conspiracy theories, during an interview that aired on CNN Tuesday afternoon.
the tRUmp âpresidencyâ would not exist without twitter, period.
he is shit at communicating in any coherent fashion, which even the dimmest bulbs in the world could recognize during the daily covid press debacle
if there were any fairness in the twitterverse we would have been spared tRUmpâs nonsense and hate based purely on adhering to the posted terms of use, but since they carved out a special shit bucket for tRUmp to vomit into we have been tormented endlessly,
twitter could have put reasonable limits on tRUmpâs account if he was too important to ban as they have suggested, forcing him to use twitter only for actual policy discussion, twitter should have never allowed him to use the platform as they have
Twitter has a duty to call out Trump for conspiracy theories in gossip he tweets about a media figure, but Congress has no duty to in any way call out Trump for his conspiracy theories about actual public policy, even as it hands him $5 trillion in new money.
What is remarkable here is that a candidate running for president is calling out Twitter for giving his opponent a platform to peddle in conspiracy theories; no one is staying on point and hammering Trump for even contemplating conspiracy theories and magical âthinkingâ.
I donât fault Joe for going after Twitter, but he really needs to start putting Trumpâs sanity on trial. Only Joe Biden could get away with ridiculing Trumpâs many conspiracy driven rants by ending his monologue with âthis man is a nutcase who doesnât belong in the White House. The only thing white that he belongs in, is a straight jacket.â
If media sites that are critical of you are âbiasedâ, then what do you call media sites that are supportive of you, Bradley? Last time I checked, bias works both ways, and itâs not a bad thing in itself. Seems to me that you only like one kind of bias, and what youâre really saying is that you donât like media sites that are critical of you, period, so spare us the pseudo-academic palaver.
Bradley canât handle criticism. Thatâs what this is really all about. That, plus playing the refs and actually biasing Americans against Trump critics. Itâs a mindfuck game and itâs what they do.
I agree. Dems have to pivot from Trump is unqualified to be president and is terrible at it to Trumpâs a stark raving lunatic and clueless imbecile whoâs a grave threat to the republic and world and must be put out this fall. Or, as I like to call it, impeachment by the voters.
Pay more attention. Biden has indeed been questioning Trumps fitness and mental health/capacity. I get itâŚwe want to hear it like a drumbeatâŚwe also want to hear policy like a drumbeat and calling Trump a liar like a drumbeat and a whole host of other drumbeats and it never fails that someone says âbut what about this other drumbeatâ whenever an article comes out about Biden saying something about anything. People need to relax and accept he cant say it all every time. Heâd look hysterical.
Instead he responded here in a way that is sane, right, appropriate, mature, measured, succinct, morally correct and presidential. Thatâs good. Real good. People out there are desperate for it. Joe can convince them and do it well. The gaffe smear silliness wont stick when overshadowed by the absolutely heartless narcissistic mess Trump spews while Biden talks sense and exudes empathy. If we focus on filling the time we spend sharing our words making those words supportive and positive, rather than tearing him down, it can only help.
