GOOD, was a stupid move to appease so-called Christians, to begin with, and was another example of the bigotry of both The Turnip and his followers.

Good. I’m a combat vet and thought the idea of bigotry governing who would get my back in the shit a stupid one. I don’t see how trans, gay or any other form of sexual identity would make a person a poor soldier. That takes guts and smarts.

I think this is the unity folks are yakking about?

It’s pretty much a given, if Trump did it, undo it.

It’s a start. But they have to figure out how to make these changes permanent. Can’t have this happen again, where Obama said it was okay, so trans folks started coming out, then trump said it wasn’t, so they started getting kicked out or had to go back into hiding, and now okay again…

I love how tossing all this garbage out is making us a little more equal.

The [Trump] policy generally bars transgender individuals from serving unless they serve “in their biological sex”…

And their biological sex is based on what?

As far as I’m concerned, I’ll take any able-bodied person willing to sacrifice their life so Putin and ISIS don’t kill me.

Well, Don, Jr. will never let them into the Army for Trump. That’s for sure.

(unless they really, really need their votes … or their money)

The GOP doesn’t want transgender soldiers. They’re afraid they’ll crowd out more deserving white supremacists in the recruiting process.

“What the fuck? They’re coming in here, they’re getting clipped,” Trump reportedly griped. “Not going to happen.”

Oh, yes, that was Unity Week, I think it was between Infrastructure Week 2 and Infrastructure Week 3, but not before Health Plan Week 3.

The U.S. spends $700 billion a year on the DoD to contain and thwart foreign threats. Yet the largest threat to any of our citizens so far as violence is from within.

It would be nice if these things weren’t left up to EOs, but I also have to say: once they’re in place, it gets very hard to undo. If Obama had been able to make that change four years earlier, it would have been impossible really for Trump to undo.

The Usual Suspects–Pulpit Pimps–are having a meltdown over this.

Good for them.

Now if Joe would revoke the tax-exempt status for these Pimps and force them to pay their fair share of taxes…

Dumbfuck Donnie had to run to the Supreme Court to get the decision he wanted, and this was one of those decisions that the rightwing justices found some bullshit justification to advance tRump’s bigotry. Anyone know how many of the current Supreme Court Justices have ever served in the Armed Forces? Just spitballing here, its probably none.

It was another one of those 5-4 decisions with all 5 Conservaturd judges voting for tRump’s ban and all 4 Liberal judges voting to deny tRump’s ban.
