President Joe Biden is slated to meet with Democratic and Republican lawmakers from both chambers of Congress at the White House on Monday afternoon to discuss his sweeping infrastructure proposal.

Good luck Joe. But donāt expect even civility from any goober who may show up to your meeting.
Those Fox folk tried to trip Buttigieg up on the infrastructure plan, but then they stumbled over their own words. Itās crystal clear they have no idea the extent of what infrastructure is, or why Republicanās think that any public money for infrastructure is best spent kicking the can down the road. So it has been. So it shall be. Democrats are redefining what it means to be an American. Republicans are very uncomfortable with that because responsible, worthwhile spending forces them off their message of fear, and they lose their power and control.
Well, maybe they should accept the Republican $800 billion offer and see if the Republicans really will go along with passing that (without budget reconciliation). And then go ahead and pass their additional $1.2 trillion using budget reconciliation.
Yup, this is act 2 of āIām an mavericky centrist but the GOP wont meet me in the middleā theatre. Next is the WV Gov coming out and saying this bill will be great for folks in West Virginia.
So we still have Trumpās steel tariffs, those tariffs were designed to help the US steel industry, but just made prices higher. Thereās so much back and forth on should Biden scrap Trumpās tariff or keep it.
Iām guessing that all involved will consider the meeting a fruitless waste of time. Someone send an Edible Arrangement so that there is at least some fruit.
Was listening to NPR this morning, explored Bidenās carbon neutral plans for the nation. Some specialist in the energy sector stated the domestic coal industry would be essentially non-existent by 2050.
