President-elect Joe Biden’s victory lap after the Electoral College affirmed his win on Monday touted the preservation of democracy amid President Trump’s fruitless legal battles centered on bogus voter fraud allegations and the COVID-19 pandemic that has killed more than 300,000 Americans thus far.
Something wrong with the headline for this article - the forgot to include any reference to the Donald… 
And 80+ million voters stand united in giving a big ol double middle finger to what’s his bucket.
It’s so nice to be able to listen to a real president again.

So good to hear what a real president sounds like again. I don’t think I’ll feel really good until the afternoon of January 20 but freely admit I’m feeling better than I’ve felt in some time. It will be good to wake up to a Biden/Harris administration and even better if they have a Senate majority.
Onward and Upward, but you better clean out the whole ulcerating pus filled wound that trump has inflicted on our country.
The only way we can move on is if everybody knows what really happened. And that means show trials and executions, doesn’t it?
Well this is one hurdle I am glad to get past.
I will never forget the silence of all the people I know that voted for trump (and self label themselves as the true patriots versus the ‘socialist’ left) and the vast majority of the gop as the national election was LITERALLY attempted to be usurped by a sitting corrupt president. Never.
I didn’t notice him calling anyone “nasty” or “blood coming out of their wherever” or anything.
I am pretty sure (I was in the kitchen) I heard Biden say “look ahead” “move forward” and “begin to heal” and I hope like hell that is just for show.
If the GOP has any hope of saving itself, it will have to look to the state and local members, the Republicans at the national level are a complete disgrace.

But they should hold their warning until after the Georgia election, they may not be in control and in position to threaten.
It was a good speech. Biden showed his tough side and his caring side. He will be a leader.
Now we see how it all works out.

You know, Moscow Mitch will likely stroke out if the Democrats get the Senate. With the Presidency not providing “top secret” classification to hide documents and Senate committee chairs as Democrats being able to release transcripts and evidence, he and his treasonous co-conspirators like Ron Johnson will have to flee to Paraguay to avoid extradition as their perfidy comes out. There’s a reason he’s called Moscow Mitch.
I highly recommend Glenn Kirschner’s podcast “Justice Matters”, where in a couple of the recent ones he makes the arguments why it’s imperative that Trump and his many henchmen be investigated and, where warranted, prosecuted.
That wasn’t a victory lap. A victory lap is for soaking up adulation after a win. That was a warning about democracy and a promise that it will be fulfilled.
