If that happens, this will be a fucking disaster. We are still in for weeks of uncertainty here. It doesn’t seem like there’s any way to guarantee Kamala will be the candidate until the convention. So who will be campaigning until then?
Again, wishing someone could tell us the fucking plan for crying out loud. Time is ticking away. (I know, there is no plan.)
And someone needs to come out and say that they have figured out how exactly to go about this without having it end up in SCOTUS’ hands. Please. We cannot screw this up and have them end up deciding this election.

Hysteria beat wisdom. The Trump campaign is celebrating as Biden’s withdrawal hands Trump the 2024 election. Notably, the GOP knows how to stick together in adversity. Watch in contrast the Dem circus around nominating a Presidential Candidate and VP. The Democratic Party has far more votes but is so diverse it struggles to win anything. The Biden nay-sayers, including TPM, may be shortsightedly correct in their various grumbles and complaints about Biden but are now completely wrong about winning. See Alan Lichtman, the historian/professor who accurately predicted every presidential election since 1982 using a sound well researched 13 factor multivariate analysis. As of last week, 9 of those factors predicted a Biden win. Only Harris might now benefit from the most powerful incumbency variable.

Several things can be true at once. Because of basic history, I have been opposed to Biden stepping down, vocally, up until last week, when it became clear that this wasn’t a matter of Democrats panicking, or succumbing to what the press said, but dealing with the actual reality that Joseph Biden has had a steep decline in health over the last 3 months.
We don’t have a choice, right now, to live in an alternate universe. We can’t live in a world where Biden forsaw the downturn in his health and bowed out earlier, and we certainly don’t live in a world were Joe Biden’s health turned around instantly and he became the candidate he was in 2020. We live in this world.
Let’s make history, in this world. Let’s make Kamala Harris the next president of the United States of America.

Did anyone expect sanity from MSM?
They have pushed and pushed for this,
with NYTimes leading their horse race,
for months.
Now we can expect ALL of them to
chime in with their chaotic tid bits until
the nominee is decided and a VP is on
the ticket.
Buckle up! Going to be a bumpy ride for

Harris wins on the merits. Abortion is going to drive a huge part of the electorate and Harris has the voice and facts to motivate that huge part of the electorate to vote for her.
Harris is a prosecutor and she has the experience dealing with felons, and Harris will shellack “Felon” over Trump’s persona.
Trump is a misogynist deep down and Harris will make sure that he reveals that fully between now and Election Day.
Finally, Trump’s record was mediocre on most counts, horrendous on others, and Harris will pound that into the MSM’s skulls on a daily basis. No more acquiescing when it come to Trump being allowed to alter his historical record.
Harris is a very articulate warrior with a soft spot for marginalized people. Let her show herself and the country will fall in line.
