The White House reportedly pushed back against cries by some congressional Republicans to “defund” the FBI in response to the agency’s search of former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort last week, CNN reported.
Of course Biden’s going to reject stupidity.

It is funny how the GOP just gave away one of its primo or cornerstone talking points to the Democrats, and that is how they are tough on crime, and they are a friend to law enforcement.
If you are a Republican strategist, you must be pulling your hair out by now, since a few weeks ago the Republican Senators gave the talking point on how the Republicans love their Veterans away with the Burn Pit Bill fiasco.
De-funding the police and FBI should go over well with their own conservative voters in the next election. Let’s hope this gets into the GOP platform, along with all of the other crazy BS they’ve been spouting lately. That should get them a solid 25 or 30 percent of the vote.

Sure let’s go after DOJ uh huh. Who will prosecute child sex trafficking, cartel kings like El Chapo, the former member of the House ( a Dem) for money laundering, cyber criminals, etc. etc. It’s as if no one thinks through these things.
And Marjorie Taylor Greene wants to impeach Garland -for what- being competent, signing a search warrant that a federal judge said was legal, rebuilding the confidence and morale of the department?
It is so pathetic that the President has to actually call me out and call out stupidity but evidently that’s required by the rabid Right.
I say go for it. Impeachment is a fucking joke. NO ONE will be removed from office via impeachment and conviction by 2/3rds of the Senate ever again.
It should be a Badge of Honor for any Democrat impeached by the ReThugs because it is the best sign they are a TRUE patriot. It’s like being Oscar Schindler during the terrorist reign of the Nazi 3rd Reich.
The entire party has become rabid. They jump on anything that could hurt someone, anyone. They are completely out of control. This is the way to permanent minority status. Fine with me.
It’s all grievance all the time -and vengeance. They don’t have ideas. What is their policy on lowering drug prices? They don’t have one. They yell about inflation but don’t tell anyone how to lower it. How about mental health and addiction treatment and housing? They don’t have one. And as far as the environment is concerned, it’s fossil fuels until the planet is uninhabitable. And don’t even get me started about childcare, and policies that are really pro family -none. But we know they favor forced pregnancy and child birth without top notch prenatal care.
