President Biden offered an apology during the U.N. climate conference for former President Trump’s move to withdraw the U.S. from the Paris climate change agreement.
Here we go… .apologizing for America… tsk, tsk. tsk
Apologies are what a person does when they’re wrong. trump was wrong and his self centered self when he pulled the US out of the Paris Accords. trump never ever apologizes for anything he does no matter how outrageous.
Perhaps not that meaningful but it does acknowledge that a nation has obligations, honoring agreements between other nations being one of them.
Biden clearly understands this, TFG could not.

Just the first of many, many apologias Biden could give on behalf of Trump to the American people and the world, but he has enough on his hands already.
To me, this is a powerful statement from Biden. In saner times, it would be looked at this way by nearly all.
Just because some Bad Faith actors don’t see it that way for purely political reasons doesn’t make it not a powerful statement, especially given to an International audience vastly different than the Pro-Trump people these Bad Faith actors are appealing to.
I’m sure that nasty little triumvirate over at FOX tonight will insist this shows weakness because they have no idea what real strength looks like.
President Biden is only doing what ordinary Americans have to do all the time when talking with non-authoritarian people while traveling in other countries (and have had to be doing since 2016).
That’ll piss TFG off.
In point of fact, that is the essence of a person like Biden.
He was talking at Donald Trump. The International Community already knows what Biden wants.
