I’m also wondering what he will do to avoid a debate. I know that yesterday he mocked Biden and said that Biden didn’t want to debate, but his handlers can not allow him to get on a stage with Biden. They’ll do whatever they need to do to avoid it.
In a way delaying the election works out for Dems because one, it would likely further turn voters against Trump and the GOP, and two, if, as most expect, Trump loses, it’ll give him less time between the election and inauguration to damage government in ways that are intended to make it hard for Biden to govern effectively and which he hopes voters will then blame Biden and Dems for.
I’m not talking about trashing the WH and cutting inauguration funds or requiring that it be held it the basement of one of his hotels because of the virus, although that too. I’m mean destroying or defunding federal agencies in ways not easy to prevent or fix, or starting a major war. He’s all but guaranteed to at least try something along these lines. Plus, he’ll surely sue to contest the election, and who knows how that turns out with this SCROTUS. The transition will be painful to endure.
I can easily see Trump reaching out secretly to Biden, agreeing to forego this in exchange for a promise of no prosecution of Trump and his family. Although he might try to leave Jared to twist in the wind.
It would be less worrisome if he weren’t surrounded by vile insane power-hungry stop-at-nothing minions. Like, um, LowBarr, McTurtle, Stephen Miller, etc., etc.

Yesterday Trump’s buddies at FOX ran a hit on Biden that reached back to a tired trope about ObL wanting to kill Obama so Biden would become POTUS. Expect more of it today from Trump. But ObL never tried. What can be drawn from FOX’s statement is ObL considered USA presidential competence as a plus or minus. He did 9/11 when Bush was POTUS and made no attempt to attack America at anytime Obama was. I hope that extrapolation is rammed right up Trump’s ass as soon as he drags that canard out.
