Okay by me.
Came through ATL airport yesterday on way to Sarasota. Guessing about 3-8% of us wearing masks at airports & on plane. Happily wore mine. No unruly Magats, so it was a nice trip. Camped out at my fav beach spot and staying very low key. Will probably test myself upon return but so far, so good except knowing DeSantis is Gov.
They seem to do a good job without his help.

I just checked, and on the first listing I found our per-capita death rate was 18th out of 155. Certainly when I go around I only occasionally see a mask or any other indication the bugs are still out there and cases are rising. I assume most people I do see are either “vaxxed and relaxed” or simply in denial. We’re just bad at this, I’m afraid.

Frankly, quite a few of these people will not be missed.
I’m willing to take a wait and see approach on that one.
I have a MAGA cousin who unfortunately didn’t fall into missed column. The guy’s whole working career was in the public sector, military then teacher, so he’s collecting $$$ pension and he bitches about paying taxes.
Not if we do our job on messaging and actually get our shit together. Republicans have absolutely NOTHING to brag about. Not. One. Thing. This is our election to lose.
