President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden have taped a video message aimed at urging Americans to mask up and building public confidence around the coronavirus vaccine that will be shown before the Super Bowl on Sunday, according to a CNN report Friday.
Target audience should really be NASCAR, but the Super Bowl is a start.

I’m sure the Lincoln Project , who are masters in mocking, could come up with an amusing ad.
I truly believe if we had a competent President and Administration last year the death toll from Covid in the USA would be cut in half.
Promoting masks is important, but he would prevent a lot more illness and death with the following message:
Go home.
All you millions of people heedlessly gathering outside your immediate households for Super Bowl parties – go home. Do it now. The game will still be on at your house. Take some potato chips and French onion dip home with you if you have to, but go home!

Since the Redskins name was thankfully dropped an old logo would seem odd considering the history of small pox ie Trail of tears.

There is a Covid story involving the Super Bowl. The Chiefs wanted their players to look sharp for the game and pre game activities so they arranged to have a barber come to their training facility to cut hair. He showed up and was given a Covid test. Before the results came back he started cutting the first player’s hair. The test came back positive, so the first player (a back up center) was placed on the Covid reserve list. The remaining 19 players who were scheduled for haircuts weren’t exposed because the positive test was known before he had a chance to expose them.
The messaging of the Biden administration has been stellar right out of the gate, demonstrating that they are servants of all people whether they appreciate the message or not. Hearkens back to Michelle Obama saying “When they go low, we go high.”
I suspect there will be a spike in cases/deaths lagging this weekend, just as there have been for the big holidays.
