President Biden demanded that New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) resign on Monday, after the state’s attorney general issued a scathing report alleging that Cuomo sexually harassed multiple aides.
Good.
We’re now at the point where Cuomo should do the right thing.

I agree with Biden, but “demands”?
You could maybe make the case to me that the NY state legislature could issue such a demand. Biden merely happens to share a political party with the guy.
Cuomo won’t resign, he just will refuse to leave office that way…his ego is too big. At some level he knows he did wrong, but he’s going to stick it “it’s how it was when I grew up, sorry” as his defense and ride it out of office. The reports, especially from the trooper, show it’s a lot more serious than “handsy affection” that older men might have though.
We’ll see if he’s impeached over it, it’s possible that they make a deal and he agrees to leave at the end of his term. He should do that for the good of the party, he’s damaged goods and will make the Democrats look bad if he’s their nominee again. If he does run, then I think he will be impeached by the NY legislature, simply to make it clear that the Democrats are against what he did.
When something like this happens to Republicans they circle the wagons. When it happens to Democrats they want the person out. That says a lot.

Cuomo should resign, as should Gaetz, many other House Republicans, and as Trump should have. It really is a shame that only one party has the integrity to hold its members accountable.

Biden spoke his opinion very directly - but he did not “Demand” - we have a President who has a pretty good understanding as to how to properly wield the power of the office … why mischaracterize his actions and make him appear to be some heavy handed strongman issuing “demands”

Cuomo issued the blanket denial, but did not directly address the substantive allegations from the report of staff members accusing him of groping.
Gov. Cuomo, patting a female co-worker on the ass is quite different than a baseball player doing the same thing to a fellow teammate. Being Governor is not a baseball game where getting a home run is the goal. You’ve been called OUT. Now take your balls and go home!
How long would an impeachment process take?
Oh she already has. The funniest part is that pretty much everybody on her list has already called on Cuomo to resign. Pres. Biden said way back in March that he would call on Cuomo to resign, pending the outcome of the investigation. Today Pres. Biden carried through on that call. Elise is a shameless, thirsty hypocrite.
