Hi! To find out what I can do, say @discobot display help.

Excellent news. I admire the HELL out of her work.

Golly, could her name be any more Irish? The Chieftains definitely need to play at Biden’s inauguration! Looking forward to her news conferences.

Hmm. I wasn’t expecting that, but I think O’Malley Dillon is probably a good choice. She did a great job in the campaign, and, campaigns being what they are, she clearly knows how to run a large bureaucracy and use it to get things done.

Moira Finley O’Donnell. Or Fiona Catriona Shannon. Or Mary Margaret Sullivan.

Just for example.

Yes, my family’s part Irish. How’d you guess?

What a great choice! I love the heads-down-lets-get-it-done approach they are taking!

Yes, considering what they had to work with, trying to model responsible behavior during a pandemic, his entire campaign staff deserves a lot of credit for what they pulled off. Whether it was the convention or coming up with those drive-in campaign rallies, they found a way to get their message out and make it work. She will do great things in this position.

She has never worked in the White House – so Deputy Chief of Staff may be a bit of a challenge – but if Ron Klain is OK with her, I’m not about to complain.

She certainly has a good deal of political experience.

She has a lot of organizational experience…under extreme pressure. And she avoids the limelight.

She is a smart, hard worker.

Yes, mostly in the context of political campaigns.

Some of that can translate into White House competence; but some of it should not.

And - if she’s like every smart woman I know - she can probably learn every new thing she needs to know in record time while attending to every other thing on her plate. The women I have worked with professionally have all been that good at managing stuff.

I vote for Ziggy Marley to join the Chieftains for this offering:

There is a paywall here, but if you can get past it, this is an eye opener:

Jen will be able to handle this next gig with her right hand tied behind her back. Zero problem.
