Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden rebuked President Donald Trump’s dismissal of climate change Saturday, criticizing the White House for its failure to take bold action to battle wildfires that continue to tear across Western states.
We absolutely must act now to avoid a future defined by an unending barrage of tragedies like the one American families are enduring across the West today.”
Trump:
In the tweet Friday, the President said that had approved funds to support the brave work of those fighting wildfires on the frontlines, adding: “We are with them all the way!”
As usual, watch what he does, not what he says. He is not with the people who have suffered immeasurable loss. And he doesn’t care.
If Trump has agreed to do something for fire victims, we can only assume that their internal polling asked a question about it, and “continue to ignore and victim discount” polled poorly.
His disgusting and incompetent response to the pandemic will be the final nail as people realize that summer’s over, and there will be no normalcy for schools, sports, stores, dining out. Parents are freaking out, believe me.
The Biden campaign has compiled experts in all fields to do what’s needed to get this country back on track.
It’s smokey in southern British Columbia Canada too, where I live. This means, chest pain, headaches and fatigue for most of us. We don’t even see any birds.
We are at “VERY HIGH RISK” as indicated on warnings we have received, until Wednesday. It’s from uncontrolled western forest fires. The cause is lack of rain due to climate change.
Thanks Trump for “your concern.”
