In addition to using the DPA, perhaps we need to start a biotech equivalent of the CCC.
There will be more pandemics, and covid will keep on mutating.

It remains unclear whether the Trump administration agreed to issue the [Defense Production Act] order.

Had Dr. Toadglans issued such an order he would’ve spewed it endlessly from every outlet he could find. “I’m tough! I’m taking charge! I’m a wartime pResident! My uncle taught at MIT!”

Obviously, that didn’t happen. And so that many more people needlessly died thanks to Death Cult Don.
