A lot of things happened. Here are some of the things. This is TPM’s Morning Memo. Sign up for the email version. Feeling Reassured? At a campaign rally Monday in Pennsylvania, Donald Trump creepily tried to reassure women voters that he’s not only not a threat but will be their “protector”: “I always thought women liked me.…
You can my a copy of the new Trump-brand Constitution for much less. Signed by the man himself!
“You will no longer be thinking about abortion.”
Because your savings will be worthless, vigilante groups will be roaming the streets, and the temperature will be 120 in the shade?
- “I always thought women liked me. But the fake news keeps saying women don’t like me.” You’re a rapist, so women still don’t like you. And you’re weird.
- “You will be protected, and I will be your protector.” Nothing women like more than to be infantilized.
- “Women will be happy, healthy, confident and free.” Well, not quite free.
- “You will no longer be thinking about abortion.” Yes, women will still think and worry about abortion.
Gawd, Trump is such a dumbass.
Your neighbours to the south of you. This is worth reading. Gift link….
Amid the morass, the Log Cabin Republicans story did make me laugh
The legacy news media no longer gives us the information we need to know. Because balance, bothsiderism, “oldnewsism”, reluctance to offend potential audiences, whatever…
We have to go to the cyberpamphleteers
Things took an even weirder turn during last night’s Trump rally in Pennsylvania, where the adjudicated rapist addressed women directly and made a cultish attempt to hypnotize them into believing he’s something he most definitely is not.
“I am your protector,” he said. “You will no longer be abandoned, lonely, or scared. You will no longer be in danger … you will no longer be thinking about abortion.” (Watch below.)
Fixed it to be in line with Taliban law.
Almost enough to make feel sorry for Jr.; yeah, no.
Dumb Shitler.
Zuchowski, a Republican supporter of former President Donald Trump, said in a follow-up post last week that his comments “may have been a little misinterpreted??” He said, however, that while voters can choose whomever they want for president, they “have to accept responsibility for their actions.”
The good sheriff digs deeper. I wonder how he’ll do in his re-election bid.
I sure do hope Trump agrees to the second debate. I know he’s poll watching. He just keeps adding to the bucket of stuff to use against him. “Protector” of women…
It’s not a slip of the tongue, it’s not that he’s tired, it really is that he’s a dumbass.
On another note why in the HELL was it Lindsey Graham that was chosen to go to NE to talk to NE state sentaor? I’m mean NE has two Republican senators, why send a senator from SC?
Damn! I just don’t understand why they(men included) do that to themselves.
especially for women that are like past 50 — I’m thinking to myself, ‘I don’t think that’s an issue for you.
Yeah, because all women are like Republicans – their only concern is for themselves personally. Sure.
“You will no longer be thinking about abortion.”
The American Taliban will make it so.
