I have worked for my local (Queens, NY) Board of Elections for some time now, and I can categorically assure you that we take extra care to make sure all ballots are accounted for and counted. Accusations of electoral fraud have almost always proven bogus; for the GQP, it’s “rigged” if their candidate obtains fewer votes than their opponent. That’s not how this works…

The old (new) “late surge of votes”. Perhaps if votes weren’t counted until after every precinct closed throughout the U. S. and all overseas ballots were accounted for and provisional ballots, the same idiots would be screaming.

I thought that this guy must have already been in the DOJ in order for him to have been elevated. However, he seems to have been plucked from the fever swamps without any qualifications to be Acting USAG for the District of Columbia. I hope his confirmation hearings, if the MAGAs deign to hold them, are televised. He’s cruising for disbarment, and I hope that would matter to some of them.

I served in just a few elections in Bernalillo County, and I agree. The pre-training and the procedures and double checks at the end of Election Day were extensive. There were counts and recounts of the rolls: people signed in versus ballots cast, accounting for ballots spoiled, provisional ballots issued, and the like. All the totals had to jive, and then there were the counts from the tabulating machines.
People who claim FRAUD!!! describe election procedures in a way that suggests that they themselves have never, ever actually voted.

According to Politico reporters Hailey Fuchs and Josh Gerstein, one of the names at the top of the list of potential replacements for Thomas and Alito is 43 year-old U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon, who Trump appointed to the Southern District of Florida in 2020. Cannon presided over Trump’s classified documents case, which was seen as former Department of Justice Special Counsel Jack Smith’s strongest case before Cannon scuttled it last July.
Cannon is so gut wrenchingly corrupt and biased she is perfect for the Trump regime to further pollute the Supreme Court.
