With control of the Senate still up in the air several days after Election Day, all eyes are on Nevada and Arizona, where the Senate races are both still too close to call.
Gee, I guess there wasn’t a groundswell of unstoppable popular support for the reactionaries and MAGA.
Hopefully, that dream is gone.
Of course, they’ve still got the machinery that made that illusion possible (although, the “favorite prez’nent” part of it doesn’t seem to be working any more.)
ETA (for what it’s worth:) FRUST!
If the GOP had any idea this would be the outcome they would have gone into the election with their conspiracy narratives turned up to 11.
As it is, they thought they were going to be coronated so they didn’t. I still expect them to make the argument about NV, but if you think about it, this turn of events created a sort of elegant outcome — otherwise the election deniers would have been out in full force.
Well, the former guy (the LOSER!) sure kicked over the anthill when he went after Raffensperger. Sometimes the victim is able to fight back. Oh, and how’s that Georgia trial goin’. Donnie boy?
It must be nice to know if you’re white and rich in America and encounter criminal allegations there’s no panic, it’ll be several years if not nearly a decade before they’re resolved, so just go on with your life and let the lawyers sort it out. For example:
Seven Years Later, Still No Trial for Texas AG Ken Paxton
It’s been nearly seven years since Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was indicted on felony securities fraud charges.
Masto beating Laxalt in Nevada via the counting of remaining ballots is so bogus! Only the ballots counted on election day should count, when Laxalt was beating Masto hands down!
Yet another example of democracy having a liberal bias! So unfair!
And, looks like we’re headed for WWII: Warnock-Walker (Showdown) II!
The capability to fool Jenna Ellis was a requirement of my contract with the Italian government and International Jewry for my vote-flipping space laser. All is working to plan.
I’m fairly sanguine about Dem Senate wins in both AZ and NV. But if not, it really puts the kibosh on Trump’s plan to announce his presidential run as he tries to get ahead of the spreading DeSantis Love in the yellow press. It would be manna for the Warnock campaign, and gives Trump a chance to lose the Senate twice.
Maybe Laxalt should tell the networks who have refused to call the race in Nevada and explain to them that he has already won this thing. After all, to hear him tell it, there is no doubt.
