She supported delaying the appointment of Scalia’s replacement due to balance on the court-Scalia being an arch conservative. But happily accepted the nomination to replace RBG, a liberal icon, in order to cement the arch conservative majority. She is if nothing else a lying hypocrite.

Definitely! Although one of the NDA’s clauses would almost certainly be that she could not disclose having signed it… Also, as a “con”, she’ll say whatever it takes to close the deal. After all, that commandment nominally about “lying” only specifies “bearing false witness against your neighbor” - and says nothing about lying in general, when not in a court of law or regarding folks other than your immediate neighbors or issues that are not under litigation. So it’s all good, (man)!

Sexual preference vs orientation. Her terminology sounds decades old though if you listen to Christian radio I think they still refer to gay people that way.
She must also think that they’re recruiting which is a term that Anita Bryant and Schlafly would use.
