How many of his answers were evasions, deflections, or lies? Best guess - 100%.

We’ll find out, but one thing we know for a fact is that Barr isn’t afraid to throw anyone under the bus to save his own ass.

The article states that Barr ultimately resigned in December of 2020 after an explosive conversation with Trump about the ex-president’s demands that Barr stick to the Big Lie.

So Barr is a hero…YAY!

I sincerely doubt that Barr lied to the panel.

Taking the Fifth in response to every question wouldn’t surprise me.

Barr testified

Does “testify” presume “under oath?” If not, did he testify under oath? Even for a POS like Barr, lying under oath is a big step.

I do not have legal training, but I can vouch for posters on this site:

After Barr assumed control of the Department of Justice, our reliance on the works of the Mueller Investigation took a remarkable shift.

And it was reflected in the tenor of our comments.

There once was a fathead named Barr
To the pantload he had hitched his star.
Though when caught in a trap,
His jowls he would flap,
His reputation he could not unmar.

No. He’s just a rare example of a Trump official who, scum though they all were, was smart enough to bail when he was being pushed to cross the line into overt criminality for a faithless narcissistic psychopath who would turn him into a scapegoat the second he felt shame, blame or humiliation closing in on him.

Perjury actually does land you in hot water. Proving perjury is always a challenge, but once proven it’s a big deal. Just ask Blagojevich.

People, many people, are saying Barr was lured in with a Golden Corral buffet lunch.

Another pop-up crap for the GOP, who interviewed for the job by indicating he would stymy the Muller report in a published article just before being hired.

They have such contempt for us that a human carbunckle like this guy can stand in front of the media with a cacophony of misinterpretations and outright lies, and crown it all with a smirk.

We don’t know how much they hate us. Right now, it is what is holding them, and half the population together.

For time immemorial, William Barr has advocated for the unitary executive theory of the President of the United States, contrary to the system of checks and balances of the three branches of government. In effect, he believes in a Presidency that is unaccountable. He is not to be trusted now, and should never have been in any position of government authority.

Barr still dreams and longs for the aroma and comfort of his face stuck firmly in Trump’s asscrack! What a brown nose and bootlicker!

Whatever it is, it was vastly underestimated, especially in the actions of Democrats** throughout 2016, what with playing with intramural angst, third parties, non-voting, bad campaigning and Hillary-Hate.

**the only organization capable of stopping Donald Trump in 2016.

The list of people sentenced to prison or otherwise severely sanctioned for lying to Congress during sworn testimony is exceedingly short, and more than a few have done it.
