WASHINGTON (AP) — Attorney General William Barr said Tuesday the Justice Department has not uncovered evidence of widespread voter fraud that would change the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.
Now that the end of his tenure is near, Barr want’s to try and seem relatively normal so everyone will forget how he covered for Trumpy. Sorry Mr. Barr, you should be brought up on charges and your law license revoked.
The comments are especially direct coming from Barr, who has been one of the president’s most ardent allies. Before the election, he had repeatedly raised the notion that mail-in voter fraud could be especially vulnerable to fraud during the coronavirus pandemic as Americans feared going to polls and instead chose to vote by mail.
So, Billy, how do your words of false prognostications taste now that you’re forced to eat them?
This is what I’ve been saying. These people aren’t going to risk their freedom for Donald John Trump (what a stupid name). The notion that so many Republicans across the country were going to risk their freedom, and possibly their lives, just to save the political life of one man was always pretty ridiculous to me. Maybe if he were a Mitt Romney or a Paul Ryan or someone who isn’t so insane, stupid, cruel and useless, maybe they’d play along. But for Trump? No, that was never gonna happen.
