This is “immediately after the fact” analysis… In terms of historical analysis, Barr’s utterings indicate that, post Trump presidency, Barr wrote a book attempting to paint himself in the most positive light possible.
His historical legacy awaits and it will not be good.
He’s not a Republican. He’s a Democrat-hater. One has some usefulness. The other brings you a president Donald Trump.
Let’s just be glad he lost. And that if he runs again, he will lose again. Remember, he lost in 2020, BEFORE he planned and instigated an attempted autogolpe.
Barr and Putin are each a “loathsome, offensive brute” and believe me, I can take my eyes off of them. I’m hoping for an intervention from Mother Nature, but I’ve been waiting for her to take a certain defeated former president out for a long, long time.
Barr is a loathsome, evil, opportunistic toad, who should be deservedly shunned by decent society. And now he will also be shunned by the indecent society of Trumpers.
Who exactly does he and his publisher think is the audience for this book, since they’ve already given copies to the talking heads?
I WILL say this. I have traversed this site for a while.
And from the time Robert Mueller started his investigations in 2017 to the installation of Bill Barr as A.G in the early spring of 2019, there was a sense of hope from many if not most of the posters here that there was some possibility of Trump being held accountable for his actions.
I was thinking rasslin’ hippos. And hippos do have big assholes.
I’ll spare everyone having to see the hippo poop spreading video https://youtu.be/Nw5GVLbZzs0 (unless, of course, you are a true biologist, in which case you may click the URL)
The President: “Well, she’s going to go through some things. I will have Mr. Giuliani give you a call and I am also going to have Attorney General Barr call and we will get to the bottom ot it…” D. Trump to Ukraine President Zelensky, July 25, 2019.
Now, perhaps Mr. Barr liked being smeared with the putrid swamp slime that attends alligator wrestling and Trump briefings. But he could have promptly resigned; not everyone feels compelled to betray their principles for the sake of appearing to be a team player, a good soldier in-it-for-the-long-haul, etc.
