Barr ain’t running the russia story to ground.
He’s batting cleanup on the Epstein files, getting rid of the kompromat stashes (or moving them to new and different secured locations).
The russia angle is just a diversion so people won’t ask the right questions.

I have thought long and hard about Chump having his dick in Putin’s wringer all these years. What does someone who wants “out from under” try to do…when he’s been jerked around enough? Not much you can do, when you are a peon. But when you have the powers of the greatest country on earth at your command? Try to get “out from under”.
I think Chump has way too much on his plate. He can’t even fend off Nancy Pelosi on his home ground. Not much chance he will be able to pull a reversal on Putin. But my guess is Vlad still holds all the cards and Chump doesn’t like it and the minute he loses Vlad…it will all come out. Vlad will have nothing to lose if he lets the world know, with documents, how he had the US Prez on a leash.
So anyways…they may be looking for a way, still, to get Manafort his pardon or to discredit Mueller. BUT, there are always 4 more layers of unfathomed shit under whatever level you think Chump is at. Barr isn’t flying around looking for some facts to re-litigate the 3 yr old wet-fart that is the Mueller report. They got lots of irons in the fire and I will no doubt be flabbergasted when we learn about them. No matter how low I predicted Chump to go, I am always left flabbergasted.

Oh, I’m sure he’s working overtime. Epstein was the only mess that he was willing to come out of retirement for (the other daily evil is just a fringe benefit he does for kicks), so all of his moves should be evaluated with that in mind.

The good side of that story is that Barr will be so distracted and absent that underlings will be able to take over the DOJ. Maybe among them there will be patriots who don’t want to become traitors.
When I think of his salary and all the perks that go with his position and he is serving only one person: Trump, I feel a little sick.

And there’s the mystery of all his kompromat. Surely a guy in his situation would have made a dead man’s switch to ensure longevity. I imagine working to dismantle that has become his flying job now, can’t work that remotely, too many people listening.
