Attorney General Bill Barr said on Monday that special counsel Robert Mueller’s upcoming testimony wouldn’t “serve any purpose.”
“Attorney General Bill Barr said on Monday that special counsel Robert Mueller’s upcoming testimony wouldn’t “serve any purpose.””
Except to highlight Barr’s own disingenuous use of The Mueller Report to prop up President Trump.
Real piece of work
May we call you “Roy”
And this
No doubt about whose team he’s on
Yes, we want a public spectacle.
We want a clear, unvarnished, open public conversation about what the report says because our crooked, corrupt attorney general believes the public is too stupid to understand the truth.
Ok Mr… Barr. Do you understand? Or, are you just a sycophant?
Asked and answered.
Nice of him to both pretend to predict the future and smear democrats at the same time.
My goodness…we have got some Fraidy Cats…
Barr
Trump
What’s a “purpose” to one person is often a “felony” for another…
Nervous, Bill? You sound nervous…
Instead of throwing shade at the Dems, Barr, you might want to focus on your job of protecting the President from everything and anything.
SDNY is running circles around your fat ass, snagging the Trump Org, Deutsche Bank, Epstein… You better reel them in before they do some damage to fat hitler.
I remember back when our standards were such that we would have called this a brazen and shocking attempt to obstruct Congress.
It seems to me the only reason for doing that is to create some kind of public spectacle.
If that is the reason, then I hope they succeed.
Ah, the good old days.
If a “public spectacle” heightens public awareness and understanding of what Mr. Mueller and his team actually discovered in their investigation – something Barr seems hell-bent to obfuscate – then let the play begin!
The American people need to be fully informed about Trump’s “high crimes and misdemeanors.”
Thing is Mueller probably won’t say anything he hasn’t already said. Barr is just nervous about more people knowing about how much of a weakling he is.
You bet we are and I hope it’s very very public and very very spectacular.
I expect a bunch of posts on this thread…This is one of Barr’s more useful (for us) comments on Mueller…
My first reaction was, “Monday…a gift…”
101 ways to read:
Could be hours of intrigue packed in this sentence fragment alone… Is this the implied Executive Privilege claims if Mueller steps out of line and says something like, “Good morning”, because that phrase is nowhere in the report?
Spectacular in how a 20 car pileup is spectacular.
Well or spectacular the way the Watergate hearings got spectacular.
