Bank Drops MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell For Making It Look Bad

A lot of things happened. Here are some of the things. This is TPM’s Morning Memo.

MyPillow CEO and coup architect Mike Lindell revealed in interviews on Steve Bannon’s podcast and Insider on Monday that the Minnesota Bank and Trust has cut ties with him after telling the pillow tycoon, who’s been subpoenaed by the House Jan. 6 Committee and is being sued by Dominion Voting Systems for $1.3 billion, last month that he was a “reputation risk.”

I would expect that it would be easier for a dog to abandon you that a bank…

Someone needs to kill him. At this point, nothing else will do. Yea, I’m saying that, no, I am not going to do that. It’s not my country. It’s pretty bad when you have to be careful that the FBI don’t think you intended harm. But someone needs to.

I have been suggesting the Mussolini approach for a while; it seems like the best way to go.

I think he knows it, too, because look: he has been in hiding since day one of this. He doesn’t dare let any actual Canadian people near him anymore

It may have been that all the reporters, IT people, and moderators were otherwise occupied and/or stumped over today’s Wordle. :grinning:

I cringe whenever Mike Lindell blathers his nonsense. Apparently others have the same reaction…

Hannity can’t guarantee people (in Canada?!?) won’t defend themselves??? WTF?!? Does he really think the world is depending on him to “keep the peace”? If he weren’t a Fox “star” he’d have to be committed for these kinds of delusions.

How is this not an example of “editorializing”? Either the Times was guilty or it wasn’t. Was this comment really necessary?

It sounds like this is a Trumpy judge who was forced to do the right thing and “he wasn’t happy to make his decision”.

If he needs to be happy in order to do his job, then someone needs to send him some nitrous oxide. /s

I had that problem Saturday night - thought maybe the 1000+ comment thread was the problem although nothing was accessible.

The White House Correspondents’ Association announced on Monday that the organization is holding its annual dinner this year on April 30 for the first time since 2019.

At the risk of Trump running again, I hope Trevor and Biden tear him a new one, though I don’t think Biden will.
