The Baltimore Sun on Saturday evening hit back at President Donald Trump’s repeated attacks against Rep. Elijah Cummings and the district he represents in Baltimore, Maryland.
And entirely too many Americans agree with Trump. Our mission, should we choose to accept it, is to ensure that hatred, fear and loathing are not American values and throw Trump out expeditiously.
Show me a large city near water ports that don’t have rats and I’ll show you a photo of the occupant with closely cropped hair instead of that flaming mess he walks around with.
The whole last paragraph is a wonder of precisely damning words.
Finally, while we would not sink to name-calling in the Trumpian manner — or ruefully point out that he failed to spell the congressman’s name correctly (it’s Cummings, not Cumming) — we would tell the most dishonest man to ever occupy the Oval Office, the mocker of war heroes, the gleeful grabber of women’s private parts, the serial bankrupter of businesses, the useful idiot of Vladimir Putin and the guy who insisted there are “good people” among murderous neo-Nazis that he’s still not fooling most Americans into believing he’s even slightly competent in his current post. Or that he possesses a scintilla of integrity. Better to have some vermin living in your neighborhood than to be one.
Kudos to The Baltimore Sun editorial: “Better to have a few rats than to be one”
But lets call a spade a spade:
Trump/Individual1 is a Racist-Russian-Rat-Puppet!
Addendum:
Jared Kushner’s family biz owns 13 apartments in Baltimore with 173 code violations!
Addendum2: In East VillageNYC,
Donald Trump would need hands the size of backhoes to clean up the garbage behind one of his son-in-law’s East Village buildings.
The refuse piled in the back yard of 118 East 4th Street was “Dickensian,” says longtime tenant Jennifer Hengen. It filled the sunken yard at least five steps high, and included “decomposing rat carcasses.” The building also went without gas for almost five months. Tenants got service turned back on in early March after they filed an “HP action” lawsuit in Housing Court demanding repairs from their landlord, Jared Kushner, and then filed a motion to hold him in contempt after his representatives didn’t show up for the first hearing.
You know, that’s one of the reasons I didn’t want Congress to rescind their break as some were demanding. I think it’s essential that Congress members hear from their constituents. Now I know that some of them are greatly “curtailing” that constituent outreach for fear of what may come. But not all of them and certainly not the Dems.
I keep saying this because it’s absolutely true: THIS is all that the regime has at this point. No more. No real accomplishments at all (and no, I don’t count the destruction of the norms of the country as an accomplishment). Only racism and hate.
Trump does not surprise or shock me.
Almost everything you needed to know about this low bred piece of garbage was in print before he was nominated.
It is McConnell and all his cowardly Repubs in the Senate and those in the House who refuse to honor their oath to defend the Constitution.
It is also those who still back him when they see and hear everyday how he turns on every one who does not protect him from the highest form of ignorance ever to be elected President.
There are problems everywhere in both cities and rural areas. Kevin McCarthy and Devin Nunes districts are two of the most polluted in the country. Soil, air and water, the trifecta. And more often than not, it’s the poor and minorities, as in Detroit who have to suffer from it.
And we have a corrupted EPA, and a corrupted DOJ, who refuse to regulate and prosecute the offenders as well as GOP politicians who prefer to give magnanimous tax breaks to billionaires and corporations rather than spend even a paltry sum on infrastructure, environmental preservation, environmental justice, and of course, climate change mitigation. Fuck these people, Fuck ‘em to Mars via the Moon.
