Bahamians who were evacuating after Hurricane Dorian were ordered to get off a rescue ship to Florida if they didn’t have a U.S. visa on Sunday.

But now CBP is saying that they would of been processed in Florida, and that it was the ship’s operator that was confused. I call BS, someone at CBP told the ship’s captain to not allow those without a visa to stay on board. CBP has it’s head up their ass because they can’t figure out what to do in an emergency situation.
Cruelty is their #1 intent.

Cruelty for the sake of it. Cruelty, corruption, and chaos are the hallmarks of the Trump administration.

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door,
as long as they have a valid United States Visa!

Gonna need a new Lazarus Poem again…

They are aware of how the cruelty is seen.

How different life would be if THAT impression (the impressions of decent folks) was blared to high heaven

Ever since the Trump scourge, there has been far more attention placed on Trump’s 40% than the Rest of Us…but even that slant has to come to face with the reality of the mind-blowing cruelty of Trump, his followers and the enablers of his followers.

Those idiots should have made sure they held onto the critical paperwork while their houses flooded and were torn apart by 185 mph winds, not tried to save loved ones.

What were they thinking, that they’d just skate into our country freely? Sheesh.

I’m sure that the Executive Branch will soon demonstrate its sense of charity by offering asylum to Bahamian hurricane survivors… at Guantanamo Bay.

Right now on Grand Bahama and Abaco -no water, no electricity, no shelter, no food, impassable roads, no hospitals. No words for the inhumane Trump administration that tried to get away with this. CBP needs to be investigated.

I have been waiting since yesterday to hear that Bahamians would not be allowed into the country. Assuming the worst works in these times. The new reality.

“They were told before boarding it was ok with Bahamian passport and clean polce record. Something has now changed.”

So if the Disaster in Chief finds out you’ve just been in a disaster he will force you into disaster part 3.

This is nothing but White House/Stephen Miller sanctioned and directed cruelty.

But at least the people affected by Dorian’s destruction in Alabama are being cared for.
