The photo at the head of the article was before he said that. After, his nose grew 6 inches. Maybe a foot.

“Such mismanagement on the part of HHS placed these human services staff at risk,”

Seems to be standard policy with this mis-adminstration.

But just add boi Jared to Mike Pence’s team and … more crickets

Put a potato in Con Jrs orifices while you’re at it. All of them.

Azar continued:

However, we are sad to announce that the whistleblower has suddenly succumbed to a virulent case of Corona virus, despite being in perfect health at lunchtime.

Azar is a stupid gopher. He had to scurry up to Capitol Hill to spill his crap before he forgot what he was told to say.

I caught IMPOTUS on his way to his “biggest rally ever” in S. Carolina. Talking over the jellycopter noise. He was pitiful. The entire right side of his head was swollen shut. He actually said that “people here” in the U.S. were all fine. He added “we call them citizens.” Talk about decompensation!

"And fourth, we will never tolerate any form of retaliation against a whistleblower.”

Uh, you’d better check with your boss about that part.

“What matters to us? First, our employees must be protected cowed into submission. Second, they must follow all isolation and quarantine protocols omertà demands. Third, we must have a full investigation cover-up to learn if there’s any truth to suppress these allegations. And fourth, we will never tolerate any form of retaliation questioning against a whistleblower our infallible Leader, sent by the Host of Heaven, to rule over us.”

Fixed.

The place where the hospitalized lady with coronavirus in N. California is in serious condition is eight miles from Travis Airforce Base where this whistleblower said there were no safeguards.

Meanwhile yesterday,

He said that? What the fuck?

I hope they follow the command chain that disregarded the whistleblower–the one who seemed to have an idea of how stuff should be handled–and ordered people into danger out of hubris and ignorance.

This guy was a pharma lobbyist and head of Eli Lilly. He is the worst kind of person to head HHS.

There is a woman on a vent at UC Davis Hospital that might disagree with Trump. Oh yeah and everything is just awesome.

@Hatmama I think you are right. The entire right hemisphere of his brain has caved.

Because of the boneheaded play to repatriate those infected “citizens” from Japan there will be cases popping up all across the nation when the rest of the then not infected passengers make it home. We know who they are and we can trace the path of infection back to HHS. Unless of course all those hours on the flight breathing recirculated air was not risky at all.

BTW, WTF was ACF doing there anyhow? This was a Public Health Service mission if anything was. The Surgeon General not good enough for Trumpski? Is Azar am glory hog? (that was rhetorical

Vice Admiral Jerome Adams, M.D., M.P.H.

ETA: HOLY F$$K - The SG is Pence’s guy? I have a LOT of friends in the PHS. Now I am scared.
From “TPM Reader XX” in Editorial Blog post:

The surgeon general was Pence’s director of health in Indiana. His department’s failures led to the HIV outbreak in Scott County Indiana (basically a failure to notice a lot of new cases over several years in a small place)

Here is an interesting perspective on why the Spanish Flu so horribly affected the U.S. Seems like those who try to suppress information always do more harm in the long run.

Call in the mop crew, no protective garments needed, on aisle 3, then put them in isolation for the next 9 months until safely after the General Election.

Only way to get to the bottom of this is via congress subpoenaing people…
