HHS Secretary Alex Azar on Sunday wouldn’t answer whether President Trump is undercutting the message of health officials that masks should be worn in public to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
What they can’t afford to say is that everyone around Trump is tested continuously, and massive resources are expended to give him a wide bubble everywhere he goes. All so he isn’t seen wearing a mask.

Every cowardly official who cannot bring him or herself to speak simply and truthfully about what every person, including Trump, needs to do to protect oneself and the entire health care system from devastation, is contributing to that devastation.

Of course, Azar is just another Big Pharma apologist and liar. Like everyone else in the criminal Trump administration, he has no scruples and no conscience.

When it is impossible for the president’s staff/cabinet/etc. to do what needs to be done to protect the American people, specifically because they fear reprisal from that president, then it is clearly time for that president to go. IOW, it’s 25th Amendment time.
If he wears a mask, his supporters might stop thinking he’s a god on Earth. Can’t have that.

The administration is coming to the realization that Coronavirus is not going away before November. The stupid “wash over America” strategy of Peter Navarro, Larry Kudlow and Dan Patrick was doomed from the start.
Red states are being hit and hit hard. I suspect some of them including Texas, Georgia and Florida are going to make New York and New Jersey look like walks in the park.
That is why Pence is wearing a mask now and why Azar is urging mask wearing. Trump is probably too stupid to follow suit but we will see.
