Ah, this’ll be a real Ducey.

As Trumps cult slowly implodes, they are starting to eat their own.

He asserted that his state has “some of the strongest election laws in the country" and despite these draconian measures the libs still won.

The Trump phenomenon isn’t a cult, it is actually closer to the formation of a new religion. We have the deity (The ‘Orange one’) and we can see the founding myths being developed right before our eyes. In some ways, the more fantastic and nonsensical they are the better.

I really, really, really hope that Trumpism leads to a schism in the GOP and they disintegrate into two parties.

I realize the chances are small, but they are non-zero…

So Imma keepin’ hopin’.

A bit off topic, but how can the Republican Party live with themselves? The latest:

I think it’s even worse than McCarthyism. While many lives were clearly unjustly ruined by their silence back in the 1950’s, and their actions put a pall over the US Constitution and the rights it grants to all citizens, The Republican Party’s cowardly actions now have killed people. Owing to their silence, over 160,000 additional covis-19 deaths have occurred than should have happened. For the want of a voice, a conscience, for 4 damn Republican Senator’s votes in opposition to McConnell’s plan, these lives could have been saved. Never forget, never forgive.

I love your comment, but no chance! The GOP is about power, and the top GOP pols are well aware of the fate of splinter parties in the U.S.

I read this earlier and was going to post it. Thanks.

WTF: no one’s responsible to Donnie for running elections, they’re responsible to the people and laws of their state and this country.
Don’t empower the asshole. He’ll go away, by one means or the other.

I absolutely agree, the GOP is about raw power, pure and simple. The question is, can they (Yertle & Co) control the cultists? What if they truly have created a Frankenstein’s monster that takes on a life of its own? Faux may be reluctantly turning toward pragmatism, but what about OAN or Newsmax? There’s the power hunger of the RWNJs like Limbaugh (actually a watered down version of some of the newer ones) to control a loyal group of crazies. What if the cultists don’t come back and instead found their own church…?

“The problems that exist in other states simply don’t apply here. I’ve also said all along, I’m going to follow the law,” Ducey stated,

Go fuck yourself Ducey. If you don’t have the balls to tell people the truth, you get zero sympathy. There are no ‘problems’ anywhere and you’re a coward and liar for suggesting otherwise.

He is on a fundraising tear. They need to see it for what it is. That “Leadership” PAC makes it worth his wildest imaginings.

The more I hear about how supposedly easy it is to commit voter fraud, the more I wonder about 2016. How would they know about all this manipulating of machines unless they had done it themselves? Someone really ought to look into that…

Donnie’s working overtime to help them find a Goldstein or Trotsky.
I’d love to see them consume themselves in internecine feuding. It’d be a boon to the country.
