ā€œA spokesperson for the community college told TPM that the school is dealing with the issue currently and will take ā€œappropriate actionā€ once they have more information about what took place.ā€

A professor at your school is having an episode of detachment from reality. The steps to dealing with this should be pretty clear – some time off for mental health counseling, immediately. What is there to think about?

Oh, you mean ā€œappropriate actionā€ like firing the motherfucker? Because we all know for damned sure if this idiot had been showing anti-Trump videos his ass would have been canned last Wednesday.

He’s merely emulating: ā€œTrump quotes conspiracy theorist claiming Israelis ā€˜love him like he is the second coming of God.ā€™ā€

Perhaps we shouldn’t judge this situation until we at least hear the opinion of JFK, Jr.

It’s probably the best evidence that the outlines of the conspiracy theories are quite accurate (even if nitpicking individual details will have errors) that the immediate reaction from outside is to shut down any talk about it and label the person saying it a nutcase.

I was trying to figure out how much acid I would have to drop or how much reefer I would have to smoke to end up being as stupid as these QAnon people but I don’t have a digital scale that goes up that high.

He’s a ā€œpart-time English professorā€ at a community college. He’s contract labor, paid per class. All they have to do is decline to renew his contract–which is probably for all of about 2500 bucks.

There’s a lot of loons in this world. This one is obviously about as peripheral as they come.

I haven’t been this pissed off about an Arizona event since wrinkle-ridden sea-hag Jan Brewer wagged her bony finger in Obama’s face.

To be sure, though, this isn’t something to celebrate–that universities are increasingly reliant on at-will, low-wage labor.

There was another guy who did that

Part-time prof at a community college shows himself for the nutcase that he really is. Say goodbye to your last teaching gig Prof. Nutbag. After word gets out about this, he’ll be painting houses in the midday AZ heat telling people about ā€œQā€ in between water breaks.

Endorsed of course (as a university citizen, at a public university in a ā€œright-to-workā€ GRRRRR state, I fight that exploitation every way I can).

Also, ā€œsplungeā€ is one of the best Python-ref usernames I’ve ever read. Kudos!

Assaults on the English Language should not be allowed in laws.

It’s like they’d pass The Assault Weapon Ban Act which actually gave tax credits of up to 100% of the purchase price of an AR-15 and 1,000 rounds of ammunition to every man, woman and child…
