Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-GA) told an audience in Smyrna, GA Thursday that Rep. Todd Akin (R-MO) was “partly right” when he talked about “legitimate rape” last year. Gingrey, an ob-gyn and chair of the House GOP’s Doctors Caucus, drew headlines with the comments, which he later claimed were being “misconstrued.”
