Audience members at First Lady Melania Trump’s speech during the Republican National Convention (RNC) on Tuesday night were reportedly not required to test for COVID-19 beforehand.
So, not only did Mrs. Birther made the Rose Garden in the image of Gorky Park in Moscow but she/Mr. Birther/RNC also had a superspreader event, not only of Covid but of their lies, grievances, and fear mongering!
Well now, we can’t inconvenience the glitterati who are privileged to attend this festival of broken English with silly tests, can we. This is, after all, uncharted territory. We’ve never had a trophy first lady before.
In fashion circles, her outfit is known as dictator chic.
Oh yeah, anyone else read this on Falwell’s payout from L.U.?
His contract entitles him to a $10.5 million severance package, Falwell, 58, told The Washington Post late Tuesday — in part because he is departing from the university without being formally accused of or admitting to wrongdoing.
Falwell said he will receive $2.5 million over 24 months, equivalent to two years’ salary. He agreed not to work for a competing university during that time. After two years, he will receive around $8 million in retirement. Falwell said he signed a 20-page contract in July 2019 that outlined the terms.
“The board was gracious not to challenge that,” Falwell said of his decision to step down in good standing.
PS
He agreed not to work for a competing university during that time.
But he can still sit in a corner of competing university’s office and watch others work.
Tim Murtaugh, a spokesperson for the Trump campaign, told CNN that “all suggested protocols were followed” after reaching out to a “coronavirus adviser.”
The White House substance abuse adviser suggests everyone toss back a generous pour every morning.
I really (cough) don’t care (cough), do you? (cough)
I hope she ends up on a ventilator just like every other member of the Trump Klan. I cannot believe people ever had any sympathy whatsoever for this courtesan.
Early Wednesday morning, the first lady’s chief of staff Stephanie Grisham told CNN that the audience members “in the rows near the President and vice president” were tested for coronavirus before the speech.
