To be honest Atlas didn’t cause the pandemic to go viral/out of control. It was and is tRumps unwillingness to handle the situation like a leader should have. He knew in November of 2019 that there was a health emergency in China that was according to intelligent sources changing the patterns of everyday life. He ignored the information because he was already in re-election mode and he wanted nothing to affect the stock market which at the time he equated with re-election. So he ignored it BUT he told Israel. Between Nov 2019 and when cases started to rise he praised President XI about 15 times on how he was handling the virus in China:

Bottom line is TRUMP did not give a rats ass about people in the US-Period. It’s hard for people to think that anyone can be that inhumane but that’s the bottom line-he just didn’t care. He especially didn’t care when the virus first hit Blue States hard because that would just feed into his re-election plans-less Democratic’s to vote. He didn’t even care when he caught it-knowing he would get the absolute best treatment, including experimental treatment that the tax payers money could buy. Family caught it-didn’t care. Super spreader rallies attendees caught it-didn’t care. Virus spreading across the country because of his inability to lead - didn’t care. 268K Americans dead and 13.6M and he doesn’t give a shit.
Atlas was just a distraction. The people who should have reigned tRump in were the doctors on the task force, not the farcical group of clowns led by Kushner. Those doctors stood next to him and allowed tRump to lie, lie,lie without any push back. Atlas didn’t fail the country-those doctors did by not fulfilling their oaths to do no harm and they did harm by not telling the country tRump was full of it. Atlas was all blow and no go because the MAGAT’s already were riding the tRump train. The other doctors for months knew tRump was a human construct devoid of empathy & compassion and especially leadership abilities and they didn’t step up. Atlas will just be an unimportant footnote in history.
