The callousness of this person in our highest office is barbaric. My wife and I see these man-in-the-street interviews in which people say they’re voting for Biden or Trump. “Well, I think Biden would bring socialism”-- or some similar idiocy. No evident sense displayed that tRump is insane and has done so much damage to our gov’t and institutions that it may be irreparable. On what planet do these people dwell?
I plan to get better. It starts November 3rd. Or a few days afterwards.

Meanwhile, between now and Nov. 3, Trump will be basking in the adoration of his cult members as thousands of families across the country say a sad, final, and socially distanced goodbye to their loved ones. So tragic, so unnecessary, so unforgiveable.

Yeah, I sort of thought it would play out like that. The package is a MacGuffin, unimportant in itself, serving mostly as a trigger for the unfolding narrative.
Ironically, one of Mr. Trump’s strengths is his total lack of reservation or limits. He created an alternative ‘MAGA’ universe and now he is going all-in on it. As the Covid infection toll rises he simply says the pandemic has peaked and is going away, and dares anyone to contradict him. I think he is going to lose big on November 3rd, but this audacity carried him through 4 years.
Perhaps he realized that someone would want to know where that FLASH drive came from, and he’s just too modest to drop his trousers.
Assuming Biden wins (please, please), I wonder how many will have voted for him that will never see him assume the office because of COVID.
And…it’s not working.
