He has no power to open up anything because he never closed down anything. He didn’t issue any social distancing regs, shut down parks or quarantines. He keeps talking about the market needing to open up. He never shut it down. They didn’t shut themselves down. The stock exchanges have been open the whole time. It’s just that they see a mismanaged public health disaster as bad for the economy and corporate balance sheets so they’re selling off big time.
I’ve made a lot of decisions in my life, we all have. Some turned out good, some not so good, again, like all of you. But my decision today to turn of the TV when the daily campaign rally began was one of my better ones.
