"In 2017, the Midland Development Corp. provided $264,000 to the Small Business Development Center at University of Texas Permian Basin to administer the Midland Entrepreneurial Challenge.
Cudd Enterprises – also doing business as CYA Flowers, an entity owned by Jenny Cudd – was one of the four winners that the judges selected. Her business received $63,000 from the SBDC and UTPB. The MDC reported this week that the program was wholly operated and overseen by the SBDC and UTPB. They stated that an independent panel of judges, completely unrelated to the MDC’s board or staff, selected the winning businesses and determined the amounts to be distributed as prize monies."
This is a very delicate subject to discuss. Especially when not highlighting FOX, other Right Wing TV, Hate radio and a number of other propaganda outlets, unleashed by anything with dealing any sort of Constitution-based fairness doctrine.
Especially not highlighting the shift in the post-1960s GOP, Reagan, Gingrich, McConnell and Trump.
Since that only worked in one Juvenile Justice court, and it prompted such an outcry that the judge retired, I don’t think anyone should put much hope in it.
I’m being facetious to some extent, but I grew up largely in Texas, and there really is an utter blindness to how people look to those outside of the only context most of them know and the only one they think matters/exists.
[From the report, pp.19-20]
Overall, the Biden counties versus the Trump counties that produced insurrectionists [but not the insurrectionists themselves] are more unemployed, more mixed race, and far more big city…
Most important, the more Trump voters in a county – even in counties Biden
won – the greater likelihood that county would send an insurrectionist to the
US Capitol.
They felt more outnumbered and thus threatened, and that disposed them more to respond to Trump’s call?
[from the report, p. 30]
Given the political geography of the movement, President Biden may well get
the most violent resistance from where he is politically the strongest.
No, no. Before Trump, there was no racism, sexism, homophobia, grifting, or anything else bad. Once he’s gone, it’ll be FINE. No worries at all. It’s not as if guys like Cotton, Cruz, Hawley, Graham, Gohmert, Nunes, or Jordan were getting elected to office before 2016. Don’t be a debbie-downer.
That’s true. Soros invented all of that stuff to give the populace reasons to hate each other, which acted as a distraction from his consolidation of power at the very top.
There’s another big time game developer who wrote a Medium post who insists the Russians have to be involved. I think it’s linked to on the page of this article.
