Arrest Warrant Issued For Pakistani Prime Minister Nominee | Talking Points Memo

Two days after the Pakistani Supreme Court convicted Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani of contempt of court, an anti-narcotics judge in northern Pakistan has issued an arrest warrant for his replacement. A judge in Rawalpindi issued the warrant in light of Makhdoom Shahabuddin’s alleged role in importing drugs that can be used to make methamphetamine.
