She’s had her 15 minutes of fame, reveling in the glories of Sinema Paradiso.
We all know how that turned out. (hint: up in flames!)

Right, if somehow it can be pointed at her and also millions of minority and poor voters in states like Georgia and TX. Those people are getting the message loud and clear.
Kyrsten Sinema’s (D-AZ) bold mavericking.
As a certain montanan pointed out yesterday, a maverick is a lost cow that wandered away from the herd, and who wants to be that?
Censure here, Krysten, let me take the opportunity to wish you a long swim in a deep settling tank.
It’s widely claimed that Sinema and Manchin shut down the VRL because they are bought and paid for, that’s it’s pure corruption and not some foolish notion of protecting Senate rules. Well, it’s time that opposition researchers and also the press get to the bottom of this and expose them publicly if that’s the case.
Perhaps she’s a sheep in sheep’s clothing.
But consider the long audition requirements for Fox News.
One word: judges. No chance much legislation gets passed with the filibuster but if Mitch takes over Biden gets no more judges confirmed unless we extend the dem majority in the Senate abs ditch the minority veto.
The story of her entire life is getting over it. Her family, her religion, her husband, the Green Party, lefty activism, state politics, etc. The current “it” that she’s getting over is the Democratic Party.
I mean it’s not as bad as pretending to fondle a woman in a joke picture that canned Franken, right? Yes, sarcasm.
following her refusal to support a filibuster carveout to help push voting rights legislation through the Senate
She failed.
She failed to deliver legislation she, and most people in her state, as well as almost all of the eighty-plus million who voted for President Biden, support. She didn’t “uphold” anything.
She failed for her state.
A woman prominently wearing kevlar body armor. That was the joke.
are those posts getting filled anyways? Don’t Rafael and Hawley still have holds on most of them?
One word, Judges. Joe’s getting them on the bench and she can very well stop this from happening.
Widely claimed does not mean true. Much like Lindsey Graham, some people are shitheads because they are shitheads. No bribery is needed.
A 50 Senator blockade on reasonable judicial nominees should be a bit unproductive going into midterms. If it isn’t, the RWNJ media has a stronger hold than I feared.
And it’s even conceivable that Trump himself would demand that victorious House Republicans would elect him Speaker. (The Speaker does not have to be a member, though of course a non-member Speaker wouldn’t have a vote.) Of course, he’d turn over day-to-day Speaker chores to another House member–Gym Jordan, perhaps? But being Speaker would give Trump a “real” office and thus, in his mind, a shield against being prosecuted. And imagine Trump glorying in the chance to sit behind Joe Biden during the State of the Union address and glower, interrupt, yell and scream, and cause havoc like he did in the presidential “debate.”
Let that specter motivate a Democratic GOTV effort this fall.
She’s difficult to understand. Most ambitious politicians spend years maneuvering into position in becoming the nominee of their party for senate. And once elected, do everything in their power to stay ensconced, and are mostly successful. Just look at the dinosaurs like Grassley, Mitch, Leahy, Feinstein, among others that have been there for decades.
But not Sinema. She’s willing to throw it away after just one term. Not to cast aspersions, but there has to be a damn good reason for going so far against the grain.
Nah, it’s all unprocessed childhood trauma. She is constantly seeking out the approval of a substitute family group, which after achieving that acceptance she is then psychologically compelled to reject for failing her. Lather, rinse repeat. She is currently seeking to be accepted by the DC lobbyist/insider set. Gonna be the next chair of No Labels.
