AR Gov On Trump SD Event | Talking Points Memo

Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R-AR) said that he would’ve liked to see more face coverings at President Trump’s Fourth of July weekend event at Mount Rushmore, but that it was held in a “controlled environment,” during an interview on MSNBC Sunday.

All superspeaders were required to keep their viruses on a 6-foot leash at all times and pick up and properly dispose of any “accidents”.

Still waiting to hear Governor Hutchinson’s acknowledgement that he was wrong. He closed his state too late, and reopened it too early, thus causing needless suffering and death.

‘And, being a controlled environment, no virus was allowed, hence masks would have been superfluous.’ Idiot.

WTF is controlled about thousands of people cramming in together without masks? WTF is he talking about? How was that not the next question?

“They should have followed guidelines there. You know, I know that it’s a controlled environment, so it’s really more about setting example,” Hutchinson said. “But, I know how important this was to (South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem). She’s been asking the President about this months ago. This was not something that was set up at the last minute, it was planned, and it was a controlled environment.”

A “controlled environment” only means one thing to me: no human beings allowed in the area.

That’s control, not letting Kimberly Guilfoyle transmit COVID to every nudnik she encounters, including the clueless SD Gov. Noem.

“controlled environment”

You keep using that expression. It does not mean what you think it means.

My guess is that Jacksonville mandates masks and social distancing so the Republican convention goes to South Dakota and the governor will make it happen no matter what.
