And then there is this. I guess is too soon in the season, but at some point Dems are going to need to inject real fear in the hearts of these people. Trump is going to be a real disaster for them.

The best thing about this odious and afactual bit of contrarianism (an NYT hallmark of late) is that the comments aren’t having it

Tried to compel and coerce his vice president to not certify the presidential election with the idea of throwing the people’s vote out and turning the election over to the House of Representatives where a republican majority could reelect him, thus circumventing a U.S. citizens most important right - the right to vote.
Moderate indeed.

Trump filed a new motion to dismiss the Georgia RICO case against him because the charges intrude on his core First Amendment right to engage in political speech.

“Your honor, my client insists that the numerous meetings held with his associates about how to rob the bank, the purchasing of weapons, casing of the location, and recruitment of an individual to serve as the getaway driver were merely exercises in free speech, not in fact a conspiracy to commit robbery…”

I think I’ll go with this part of the definition of rogue.
an elephant or other large wild animal driven away or living apart from the herd and having savage or destructive tendencies.

Yeah, but I guess some people think they’d be happier being outraged at Trump than being disappointed in a Democrat. FAFO.

What good does it do to win a defamation suit if the defendant is penniless and continues to defame you? Unless Rudy ends up in jail for his continued public lies I fail to see what other meaningful sanctions a court could impose. And certainly any attempts to jail him would be preceded by months and months of motions and appeals to forestall it.

One of my favorite lines from (the original) “Law and Order” is Jack McCoy duly informing a colleague, “When you’re raised by the Jesuits, you’re either obedient or impertinent.”

Miss him so very much.

The part they don’t get is that if they let Trump in the WH they will never again have a chance to being disappointed with Democrats again. Republicans will ensure their vote wont count any longer.
