State Department officials were reportedly told in May that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was feeling pressured by President Donald Trump’s push for Ukraine to open an investigation into 2020 candidate Joe Biden.

As long as Trump is President no country is safe from Russia.

The Goopers will never learn… you just never know what facts are coming to light next. There’s got to be an iteration of Trump’s Razor for the concept that once a new theory becomes the refuge for elected Republicans it will be disproven by verifiable evidence within 48 hours.

According to the AP, Hochstein relayed details of the meeting to Yovanovitch and two U.S. Embassy officials in Kyiv, Suriya Jayanti and Joseph Pennington, both of whom took notes that later circulated within the State Department.

Hochstein is apparently a Democrat and has worked previously in the Obama Administration, so we know what Trump and other Republicans will say. But the noose is tightening. I’ve lost count of how many first, second, and third hand witnesses we now have, many of them Trump’s own appointees.

Polls are showing Trump’s excuses are not resonating with the American people. They know what he did was wrong. We’re merely debating the consequences.

“So nobody should be surprised when the Ukrainians are trying to put as good a spin on this as possible, are trying to stay in the President’s good graces, because, right now, the President still holds enormous leverage over that country’s independence and sovereignty.”

It seems like Zelensky and his staff may be acquiescing not just to stay on Trump’s good side, they may also be gaining leverage over him if they publicly support his lies while holding proof to the contrary.

Not that it would be the least bit surprising, or the first time, to see Trump secretly in debt to an eastern European leader.

Well, that’s another witness to call in for a discussion, as he can testify to the Ukrainian side of things and what they said behind closed doors. That’s going to be more true than political speeches where they Ukrainians can’t be sure a true statement will cause them to lose funding again.

That’s several witnesses or potentials in just the past few days, it really is starting to feel like more people are coming forward as information is released and the hearings happen. That’s a good thing, if administration staff, who likely know a lot of the details from things they were told to do, can paint a big picture, then Trump and his minion’s refusal to testify or release documents really will look like guilt.

The people do have power.

Watch what would happen if

Over 70% think Trump’s actions are wrong
Over 55% believe Trump should be impeached and removed
Under 35% approve of Trump

Yeah well…I’m SURE they are all liars, losers or ‘Never Trumpers’ because GOD knows everybody is wrong except for the stable genius Donald J. Trump (and his despicable supporters).

Good catch.

Two anonymous sources are not good witnesses, but every bit helps.

He was at State and served as an advisor to Joe Biden.

Oh boy, is Trump going to blow a gasket when someone tells him a Biden guy was at the meeting where Zelensky admitted to feeling pressured by Trump’s corrupt demands.

He may have to go for another “physical” session. They didn’t put him in the copter last time, probably because he was flailing around and putting a raving maniac in a helicopter is never a good idea.
