I just saw an @$$hole with this flag on his truck. Do those guys really believe they are triggering , or owning me with that? Nope it’s just another unneeded proof that those guys are total morons. And then they are whining about “Elites” that look down on real red-blooded Americans.

While none of these spineless cowards will stand up and convict Trump, they sure are eying the exits with excitement.

Good idea to get the news out that he is leaving in hopes of avoiding any further besmirching thanks to his party going full Q.

Are convicts allowed to run for office now?

For frigs sake…he is 86 years old. Retire already!! Along those lines it’s time for Chuck to have the talk with Diane F. Take it from this masslass…we have been at this point before- If Ted Kennedy had resigned and leadership hadn’t been in denial about his condition we would not have had the loathsome Scott Brown - do not make this mistake again. Pat Leahy, I’m looking at you too!

I’m not a big fan of Senator Shelby, but it has seemed for a while that he probably would not run in 2022. He was born in 1934, makes sense.

But for Alabama, with Tommy Tuberville and a new senator–still possibly Mo Brooks, though his stock has crumbled in recent weeks!–and Shelby no longer head of the Appropriations Committee, the federal monies that have done so much to help Mobile, Birmingham, and Huntsville, especially, will dry up. Rough times ahead for Alabamians, much of it their own doing, even if most of them can’t see it.

Um, does that mean that we’re looking at Senator Nick Saban?

Nick Saban can’t take a pay cut of that magnitude. But if he wanted the job as a Republican, he could be elected. I’m not sure he would make a very good Republican, however.

… Shelby, who is 86…

I guess that he wants to spend more time with his mortician?

Oh, I’ll bet that he could. He’s probably saved up a very Tidey sum by now.

Shelby is no bargain, but considering the other Senator from Alabama is Tuberville, and that we barely avoided Roy Moore and Sessions, I am definitely not looking forward to seeing who they nominate. Could it be someone so vile we get Senator Doug Jones again? One can hope, I suppose.
