She’s alleged to have set up many minors to be raped. I usually consider suicide worthy of prevention. If prosecutors believe she is considering suicide, it is likely because she feels great shame. There are three ways to look at this:
- She’s a late-learner with regard to morality and is finally learning shame.
- She may also be a victim of childhood sexual abuse, in which case her behavior is somewhat understandable while also being reprehensible.
- She’s deserving of her own suicide.
When I look at all the lives she’s helped damage or destroy, I could go with any of these three, but I would not mourn her loss if she took her own life. If she was a victim of childhood abuse, I would mourn that.

I want her to live long enough to tell a series of juries about who was participating in the crimes, and where the money is hidden, and who was laundering it.
Then she can jump over the side of a big boat. I’m sure there are many who would be there to “help” her.

Case fatality rates (= rates of mortality among confirmed covid19 cases) for coronavirus patients in their fifties and sixties are in this graphic.
Ms. Maxwell is about 58 and a half (apparently she’s a Christmas Day baby), so, unless her risk is aggravated by other conditions – of which one of the most major, obesity, can clearly be ruled out – it’s fair to assume that, if she were to contract the virus in prison, she’d be facing a mortality risk on the lower end of these figures.
So, like, a 1% chance of dying from covid, and that’s GIVEN that she gets the virus.
AKA the least of many considerations here.
One wonders how many more versions of her are out there, still doing this sort of thing, because apparently, there’s a subset of people who are into it, like, really into it, and just can’t or won’t stop themselves until caught.
Her “list” is sure to include people who are not just tied to Trump, Repubs and others we’d love to take down (and perhaps some whom we’d rather not, but who should go down if they’re on it), but who are tied into other such sex with minors and coerced victim networks.
I strongly suspect that Barr is on one of these lists. He seems like the type, creepy, furtive, domineering. But she probably won’t be alive once Trump is out.
