It was the beginning of the end of a court with integrity. Sadly, we also have to thank Ted Kennedy for sitting on his hands (his nephew was in the middle of a rape trial, as I recall and Ted was there when it happened) and … Biden. That confirmation hearing was an abomination.

Thomas should have never gotten the robes in the first place. And, he will never leave the position, unless he is dragged down the stairs. Not because of his color, but because of his character. He showed us all who he was during his Supreme Court confirmation hearings, led by then-Senator Joe Biden, and how he responded to accusations of sexual harassment from Anita Hill.
Who has the cojones and the will to take him down now, if not in the past 30 years of serving on the Court, or the over 20 years he has been taking junkets with Ultra-rich Rethuglican donor(s), or the clear ethics violations of his spouse in her attempt to overthrow the election of the latest duly-elected President of the U.S.?
AOC! Bless her, and all the women (and men) who speak up to corruption, who do the things that all of us should be demanding, and doing.
